Faced with the choice between boarding school, military school, or rehab, Greg chooses the latter, thinking he’ll coast through the program and return to his teenage partying. But, just maybe, he’ll discover what kind of man he really wants to be.

This project was created by Summer, co-written with Olyvia Chac-Nguyen and produced by Stephanie Duong and SUM SUM Productions. This project is meant to be a short film narrative exploring the themes of identity, multi-cultural family dynamics, adversity with racism and microaggressions and the beauty of letting go. The team is made up of a predominately Vietnamese-American production team.
Adopted by their immigrant grandparents, a Vietnamese-American kid longs for self-acceptance and discovers the reality of letting go.

In a gritty venue where a band struggles to stay afloat, a reluctant outsider, Malik, is persuaded to attend a hardcore show, thrusting him into the heart of the DIY scene. As the rowdy crowd and electrifying music collide, Malik's journey becomes an intense exploration of camaraderie, resilience, and the raw, unfiltered spirit that defines the world of underground music, revealing the transformative power of a single night in the throbbing pulse of the DIY experience.
